Positive Peer Mentoring (PPM) provides essential Emotional and Mental Health services to individuals facing emotional or psychological distress. Our organization offers a wide range of services and support groups to cater to the unique needs of each individual.
We understand the importance of providing accessible and affordable mental health support, so we offer FREE Therapy Consultations. This initial session allows individuals to meet our staff and discuss their concerns in a safe and confidential environment.
Our Mentoring and Mental and Emotional Health Coaching topics cover diverse areas, including Coping Mechanisms, Couples Coaching, Gratitude and Appreciation of Self, Grief and Bereavement, and Mental and Emotional Support for students with 504 Plans and IEPs. We also provide support for individuals with ISPs and guidance on Motivation and Goal Achievement, Positive Relationships with Others, Stress Burnout Prevention, and Personalized Custom Topics. We aim to empower individuals and equip them with the necessary tools to navigate their emotional well-being.
In addition to individual sessions, we offer Non-Clinical Support Groups and classes. These groups provide a supportive environment where individuals can connect with others facing similar challenges. At PPM, we believe in the power of therapy and its ability to transform lives. We offer various therapeutic approaches, including Connection and Companionship Therapy (C&CT) and Touch Direct Contact Therapy (TDCT). We are continuously expanding our range of therapies to ensure we meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Our primary goal is to improve the overall well-being and quality of life for individuals seeking our services. We provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals can openly discuss their feelings, thoughts, and concerns with our professional staff. Our services are designed to cater to individuals with various mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Please note that while we do not diagnose or prescribe medication, we are committed to helping individuals find the appropriate specialists to provide further medical assistance.

At Positive Peer Mentoring (PPM), we are dedicated to providing virtual and in-person mental and emotional health coaching and mentoring services. Our goal is to promote individual growth and overall psychological health by understanding and respecting the uniqueness of each client we work with. Our approach begins by identifying and understanding the client's goals, challenges, and aspirations. We take the time to listen attentively and create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to express themselves. We deeply understand the client's needs through active listening and empathic understanding and tailor our coaching and mentoring strategies accordingly.
One of the critical aspects of our approach is the use of evidence-based interventions and theories. We stay up-to-date with the latest mental and emotional health research, and we integrate this knowledge into our coaching and mentoring practices. Example: A client experiencing work-related stress may learn time management, prioritization, and self-care techniques to manage their workload better and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
At PPM, we recognize that mental and emotional health coaching, mentoring, and touch therapy may not be the sole solution for everyone. We are committed to facilitating referrals to other professionals, such as therapists, psychiatrists, or medical doctors, when necessary to ensure our clients receive comprehensive and holistic care.

ABOUT CORINNE PULLIAM
"We Should Embrace Who We Are and Support Each Other"
Greetings! My name is Corinne Pulliam, and I am the proud owner of Positive Peer Mentoring. My journey in the medical field began in 2008, and since then, I have developed a deep passion for mental and emotional health. My area of expertise lies in Touch Direct Contact Therapy, which I find incredibly fulfilling.
I hold a degree in Social Services from Cambridge University and multiple certifications in Touch Therapy via Curtains University through edX (an American massive open online course provider created by Harvard and MIT) and have worked with diverse clients and companies, helping them achieve their full potential. I am always eager to take on new challenges and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
During my leisure time, I indulge in all things Disney, love to go for long drives and cherish spending quality time with my loved ones. I am also actively involved in creating a Find A Friend Friday program, which I hope to launch soon. Giving back to the community and positively impacting the world is a core value that I hold dear.

I believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their financial situation. It is unfair that some people are denied care simply because they cannot afford it. That is why I have made it my mission to provide affordable and accessible EMOTIONAL HEALTHCARE to those who most need it.
Opening my location has been a challenge, but it has also been advantageous. I have created a space where people feel comfortable and cared for and receive the treatment they need without worrying about the cost.
Of course, running a business without a focus on profit means I am not making much money. But that is not my priority. My priority is to make a difference in people's lives and to provide them with the care they need to live healthy and happy lives.

If we all work together, I believe we can create a healthcare system that focuses on the needs of the people it serves. It may take time and effort, but I am committed to doing my part to make that happen.
